Red Bank Charter School

seeks qualified candidates for the following positions for the 2021-2022 school year:

Teacher of ESL

ESL teacher to provide an approved program that fosters English proficiency, academic learning and personal growth.  Teacher will provide instruction and experiences in learning the culture of the community to ensure that all students meet and exceed the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and WIDA standards in the area of ESL.  Experience with Sheltered English Instruction and ACCESS test administration is a plus.


MS ELA Teacher

Middle school Teacher of Language Arts to work collaboratively as a teaching team member in an elementary/middle school setting.  Qualified candidates must be familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards to plan and implement a variety of rich instructional experiences to enhance student achievement based on academic data while creating a classroom environment that supports the social/emotional learning needs of our students.  Must hold instructional certificates as an Elementary Teacher with MS 5-8 Teacher of ELA through the NJ Department of Education. Certification in Special Education is a plus.


 Teacher of Art

Art teacher to provide instruction to students in Grades K-8. Qualified candidates must be familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards to plan and implement a variety of rich artistic and cultural experiences to enhance student learning. Must hold or be eligible for an instructional certificate as a Teacher of Art through the NJ Department of Education .


Custodian/ Janitor

We are seeking a full-time School Custodian/Janitor to perform various custodial tasks as directed by the Head of School &/or Facility Manager to maintain a clean and safe learning environment, exercising prudent cost control measures in cooperation with school administration and district management. Tasks include but are not limited to cleaning, dusting & sanitizing classrooms, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, cafeterias, clearing walkways, maintaining property & playground equipment, etc. as well as any other tasks assigned by building administration.


NJ State Criminal History Record, Child Abuse Report.

Ability to read labels to ensure proper chemical usage

Ability to lift 40 Lbs
